Hi I'm a Radio Presenter , Journalist and Voice-Over artist who has worked for many stations National and Local over the past few years. I am currently freelance
BBC Radio Kent , BBC Radio Cambridgeshire , SOLAR RADIO (sky channel 0129) & THAMES RADIO (Just closed down) where I do a daily show 4pm - 8pm daily with my old friends Neil Fox , Pat Sharp and Tony Blackburn. (Click station links for websites)
For the past couple of years I have been freelancing for The Gold Network in London and BBC Radio Kent as well as having done some shows for Planet Rock too.
I spent many enjoyable and successful years doing the Breakfast show for Invicta FM where I went to Hollywood in ’93 & ’94 to bring back interviews with many of Hollywood’s big Oscar winners. Interviewing Al Pacino ,who won for Scent of a Woman, blew me away.
It was then I was headhunted to front what they called 95.8 Capital FM’s definitive late-night radio show. It was fully interactive show, featuring live callers and the topics that affected Londoners' lives, it's was also the perfect impromptu stop-off spot for stars en-route to a party or coming back from a gig.
It was then off to Virgin Radio to do the lunch time show to work with my ex-boss Paul Jackson. Being there 6 years meant I had to be doing something right. Loved it !
I have also done radio shows from Gibraltar, Disneyworld and Hong Kong as British Rule came to an end. I also introduced acts at Party in the Park (100,000 audience) and did "on pitch" commentary for celebrity football matches at the Soccer Sixes – Robbie Williams and a host of other pop stars playing with a crowd of 15,000 attendance.
If I chose a film to watch on a desert island it would be Goodfellas or any of the Godfather movies. Along with watching old winning cup finals of Chelsea FC. In my spare time I manage an U'18's football team in Kent although sadly, I will never achieve my main goal of playing for Chelsea, but I do have a season ticket.
Weirdly I started life as a barrow boy in the Portobello Road progressing through the ranks of media, writing for local papers and magazines , to spending two years working for Peter Stringfellow as the in-house DJ !!
